A Sonortec cinema starts as a room shape, not a kit list. We measure the volume, model the reflections, and decide what the space can become — sometimes a dedicated cinema with a concealed screen, sometimes a media lounge that reads like a living room until the curtains close.
Everything that follows — the speaker layout, the acoustic treatment, the lighting scene, the row of seats — serves the room and the family in it. We build our own millwork, calibrate our own systems, and stand behind the result for five years.
Typical projects run from €45k for a media lounge retrofit to €280k for a dedicated Atmos cinema, delivered in four to twelve weeks.

What's the smallest room that works as a cinema?
A 16m² room can host a convincing 5.1.2 lounge cinema. Under that, acoustics start to fight back and we'll recommend a media lounge approach instead.
Can you work around an existing build?
Yes — most of our projects are retrofits. We design non-invasively where we can, and give you a clear list of what structural work would unlock better sound if you want it.
How long does it take?
Four to six weeks for a media lounge, eight to twelve for a dedicated cinema. Commercial work and yacht installs run longer and are quoted case-by-case.
Is the space prepared for Atmos upgrades later?
We always pre-wire for the full layout even if you start with fewer channels. Upgrading from 5.1.2 to 7.1.4 later means swapping speakers and re-calibrating — no re-building.
Do you work outside the costas?
Yes. Madrid is our third base, and we've delivered across Barcelona, Ibiza, and as far as Portugal and the South of France. Travel is quoted transparently.
